Yeah, it's not actually by the Dead Green Mummies. It's actually by the band Pantera. I don't know if Dead Green Mummies did a cover of this song, but the version in the film is most definitley by Pantera.

In my opinion i think that the mad world song in the end of this movie was the greatest song that was ever sang or created in the entire world

Does anyone know the name of the song that is played when Frank and Donnie Darko are in the movie theater when he sees the portal? It is also played at the end credits. It isn't on the sountrack. Thanks

I'm not sure. If I remember correctly it's called "Voices Carry" but I don't know who sings it.

Or are we talking about the Director's Cut? Personally, I'm hoping that Debbie Gibson and Tiffany show up. (Saints preserve us, I'm just kiddin'.)

Hello, I ate a blueberry muffin this afternoon, it was o.k. Donnie Darko has all of a sudden become widely known, yet it has been around for years. I don't know if I feel it is getting the recognition it deserves, it's sad in a way, it's no longer a film recommended by mouth now the television does it instead.

Personally my favorite music. Was Mad world at the end of the movie. The video clip found in the dvd is also kinda cool.

So, as a point of information, Gary Jules makes a well-exploited cover of Mad World, by which I mean its a really obviously mopey and dejected pianoman version of the Tears for Fears song, which had as a sort of ambiguous and upbeat sound to it.. making that version ultimately alot darker and more interesting. None the less, I went out and bought the Gary Jules CD to see what he had up his sleeve. NOTHING. HE HAS NOTHING UP HIS SLEEVES. Really. Lame album, I even forgot the title of it, and it was only a week ago that I bought it. Your money is much better spent buying large smoothies for you and a friend. The film score, however, is MAGNIFICENT. Highest regards. /g
