I can't believe no where no one knows anything about the song "time flies" which plays during the slow motion seen at the school. this is an amazing 80's song I would love to know who performs it! please there must be an answer out there. and what about the sparkle motion song or was that duran duran?

the song played through the school hallway scene is "Head Over Heels" by Tears For Fears. the one played in the sparkle motion scene is "Notorious" by Duran Duran. and Adam, the song you're looking for is on the score by micheal andrews... i don't know the name, but i'm pretty sure it's on there. hope that helps!

cheers adam i spent most of today looking for that, because funnily enough i went to see a band called 'scenes' last night and there were a load of other bands playing with em, one called 'Fony' and they had it as their intro music.

i just read some interview with the Director saying that there is a directors cut coming out with more scenes than even the DVD, and a bunch more 80's songs. I'm pretty excited because I was a little kid during the real 80's and this movie has given me a whole new way of looking at the music and the bands. I've been trying to figure out what is actually good and what sucks in the genre, and now I will never hear new wave in the same way again after seeing that halloween party scene. I can't even talk about it.

Ok so has neone paid attention to the music lyrics they explain a lot thats going on ... ie Tears for Fears "Head over Heals" stops in the movie right b4 some lines that are ... I made a fire and watching burn Thought of your future With one foot in the past now just how long will it last No no no have you no ambition My mother and my brothers used to breathe in clean in air (Changes with those...) And dreaming I'm a doctor (They can't stop...) It's hard to be a man when there's a gun in your hand Oh I feel so...
Something happens and I'm head over heels
I just saw the movie today and ive been researching ever since... visited the website... looked up song lyrics... tried my best to come up with a theory ... but since this is the music page u cant say that most of those lyrics have to do w/ specific moments in the film and yet this verse was left out ... its like much of the film ... its a puzzle and the movie is only 1 part
