AND THEYYYYY CAN NEVERRR TEAR US APARRRRRT! .... dum dum dum DUM! Oh thanks but I finally found it on limewire. I was trying to find it but i forgot who sang it. And I was searching through all of my Donnie Darko songs and there it was. Yay! Thanks a bunch though. Love the song. Gosh i'm rocking out to it now. I'm picturing the opening scene of Donnie Darko right now and i'm all giddy. Love this song. ;D

ooo it has to be either "under the milky way tonight" or "Love will tell us apart" or "head over heels" sigh all so good. being forced to pick one i would have to pick "under the milky way tonight".

I love how the songs were used. it really helps the story along and sets the mood perfectly. Also, I grew up with a lot of those songs, having grown up during part of the 80s. My favourite is probably Joy Division, Love Will Tear Us Apart. Or maybe even The Church, Under the Milky Way. They are all great tunes so it's hard to decide.

when Jim Cunningham is giving that speech ... the music in the background is quite kewl. Agreed -- that's my favorite bit of scoring, too.
