that scene pisses me off! if that dumb piece of wood wasn't there he may have had a change of living. i mean. the engine only appeared to his his legs. so if that wood wasn't there then he could've just walked away with some broken burned legs. but what do i know I'm no doctor. but otherwise i thought the scene was pretty amazing. kinda sad though to see poor Donnie like that. I'm glad it wasn't in the movie also. it would've made the movie have a different feel or way to it.

It's a deleted scene - if you have the DC you should be able to see it in the special features.
PS How can you be not sure if it's in English?

eh i dunno but if you search google for the donnie darko screenplay/script thingy there's actually a scene described where a wooden beam from his roof crushes him and blood gushes from his mouth which is formed into a sort of smile.
