Follow-up on the trailer I shared earlier: I've finally posted the full short, "Threshold," on our production team's YouTube channel. You're invited to have a gander: www.youtube.com/user/handsoffmedia , and of course I welcome the usual candid feedback. Just remember: it was created in 72 hours and built from a set of random variable given to us at the starting minute of the contest. Have a look. Jason

We have a richard kelly section, why dont you just make a jason section instead of proclaiming yourself worthy of "other great movies" lol
I like the idea of a zombie film thats all in someones head, similar to Franklyn. There were alot of continuity errors in there though, just to be pedandic

On a dark, deserted street a half naked, visibly abused girl runs screaming. Bruised, bloody and sufffereing from dementia she is eventually rescued by the local police. Her name is lucy and shes beem missing for over a yhear but refuses to give away any information about describing her captorsor any details concerning her violent abduction. During an intensive investigation hte police eventually discover an abandoned slaughterhouse containing what looks like a torture chamber. But what exactly took place and how lucy managed to escape remains a mystery. Amny years after the horrific incident a seemingly normal family have an unexpected guest during breakfast. Their surprise visitor is a distraught young woman carrying a loaded shotgun, intent on revenge. 9/10 Its been a while since i was genuinly stunned by a film, but this truly brilliant. This is a very intense thriller that keeps you absolutly gripped. Although it is very gory and theres alot of blood, this is by no means a horror. It is just a sublime thriller. you have to watch this film!

There were alot of continuity errors There are certainly things left unexplained (and not necessarily in a good way!), but I'm not aware of "a lot" of continuity errors. What are they? You've seen something I didn't ... edit: added missing parens

The Book of Elii think this is a good film, about what i was expecting/hoping for and much better than what many reviews had rated it. Denzel Washington gives a unique & almost muted performance in his entry as an "action hero"(which of course the character is not). rather than the typical machismatic dominator portrayed by numerous actors, he plays the character as a soft-spoken, determined, single-minded man-on-a-mission, just passing through on his way to a goal from which he will not be sidetracked, even if that means bloodshed, dismemberment, or decapitation for those who attempt to deter him. i found everything about the film to be very effective: cinematography, acting, music (though in a few scenes i would have preferred silence). i did not find the film overly "religious" or even spiritual so much as simply thoughtful about the place that books & writing and ideas/beliefs have in our lives & society (it's not exactly a "thinking person's" action/adventure movie either). perhaps not a masterpiece of cinema (the surprise in the denouement is a poetic fit but reveals a flaw in logic that i haven't quite been able to reconcile, yet) i think it still a worthwhile entertainment.
