Seeing as though whole movie seems paradoxial (?) Ive got another idea. Roberta Sparrow is not actually in that tangent universe thingo.... in that universe she has no soul and is kind of stuck in a loop (like a scratched cd) whilst her soul has time traveled back to when she is younger to tell her how to time travel so she can write the book for Donnie to read. She figures out how to time travel because donnie gives her the book that she wrote. But as as this creates a time and dimensional paradox she just keeps looping...... I dunno im probably full of crap
