ok if donnie did get out of bed and not get killed by the jet engine, all the 28 days stuff would have happend an dthe world would end but why then doe sfrank try to wake him up he repeatly honks his car horn after dropping donnies sister off and int he comentary richard kelly says that frank is trying to save ut donnie dosent hear or dosnt listen whats up with that

this is what I think..... The whole movie was frank ( along with many other people ) acting as guides for Donnie to undo the alternate universe *thing*, which he did. The first time he met frank in the movie, frank summoned him and saved his life. This time had he just got up because of the honking none of the other stuff would have happend because frank would not have died to become god ( or whatever higher powers ) messenger. So he would not have busted the water pipe, burnt down the house to expose jim, so kitty would have been able to chaperone the trip to LA, everything would have been "normal"....

the party would have never happend... Donnie would have proabably not hooked up with grechen at all, so she wouldnt have died, frank wouldnt have died ect ect ect....
