Its possible to download songs for free on aol, you do a search of the song in the Audio section, listen to it first to check its a full song and its the correct one then you right click on the song name then click save as then it should be saved on your computer.
I got most of the Donnie Darko music this way, Head over Heels, Mad World, (Gary Jules and Tears for Fears) and i got Notorious but its the live version

I use singingfish.com when I don't want to taint my conscience.
Other than that, I use oink.me.uk.

I use my Windows Media Player... it's quite hard to find some songs.. but it works. But I can't find Head Over Heels (Tears For Fears). *sad face*

I could send it to you if you wanted.
On topic..I usually use Limewire or Ares..mostly what I'll do is download a few songs off of a CD, and if I like them I'll buy it. Though more recently I've been checking album reviews beforehand as well.
