My son was listening to his Blue Sky Mile CD. (Local Seattle Band) He asked me to read the lyrics of one song called "The Philosophy of Time Travel". As I was reading it I noticed a part which said "he can see it leading from their chest". Of course this reminded me of the movie. My son then reminded me that the name of the book that Sparrow wrote was called The Philosophy of Time Travel. The rest of the song seems to have other references to Donnie Darko as well!!

That is neat... do you happen to know if all of their songs are Donnie Darko related, or just that one specific song?

This is a very thoughtful band and they have a lot of lyrics that make you think but the only one about Donnie Darko that was just pointed out to me is this one. It is on their album Sand Once Seas. They have another song Never Say Die and I am not even sure if it is related to The Goonie's but it sure reminds me of it! The band is no longer but I am pretty sure you can still get their cd's.

Speaking of music, does your beautiful user name come from the Jackson Browne song?

Grandpa, you are good. That is indeed where my username came from. I love his music. Talk about great lyrics! I have seen some people use Happyidiot as their username. Cracks me up everytime I see that.

Yes!! The story gets worse... In order to register I had to create an MSN-Hotmail account. I must've gone through about 8 usernames before I found one that was available. For the life of me I can't remember it now!! Dear MSN...I can't remember my username or my password...can you help me? (giggle)
