People, those of you who were taken on with song 'Head over Heels' by tears for fears, of course, a personal favourite of mine - i would STRONGLY recommend downloading their best of album 'Shout'...sucha fine album for the 80's band...i would be amazed and somewhat disappointed if those of you who follow 80's would not enjoy this! However, music is a matter of taste...the sites i use for downloading full albums are www.suprnova.org and torrent.youceff.com , which you need a torrent program for - if anyone would like this torrent program then please get in touch and i can send a good one over MSN or something

Oh, snap. Tears for Fears. As I've said previously, one of my favorite bands. Haven't bought the greatest hits cuz I've got all their albums except "Seeds of Love." And, in case you didn't know, the new album "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending" is due in December (after being delayed like a bastard.) This is the first album since "Seeds" that features original member/partner Curt Smith. Roland Orzabal is "the voice" in my opinion, (cuz "Elemental" is a stand-out, and that was sans Smith) but it is cool that after the feud the original crew is releasing an album. Damn those 80's. They just won't go away.

Go and buy "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending!" The title track is a Beatles track that the Four never did, and the rest of the album is great too. If you're expecting something exactly like 1985's sound, you might be disappointed...but give it a minute. Peace.

Hugely. It reached number three on the pop chart here in the U.S. when it was released as a single. (According to Launchcast.com, "Shout" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," both from the same album as "Head Over Heels," each hit number one. Quite a successful record!)

I need to look for the video online some time, I'm interested.

Omnipotent, and others looking for Tears videos, might want to look out for a collection of same, titled "Tears Roll Down." This came out in '93 or so I think. It's got all their videos up to that point. Also, the "Head Over Heels" video features a library and a chimpanzee. Can't go wrong with that combination. Peace!

When I watched Donnie, i thought the song's orginal singer was Michael Andrews and recommanded it to everyone around me. Well, i guess i was such an idiot back then. I will go get one by tft as soon as possible:)
BTW, i 've never listened to songs by tft, what genre of music are they into?

I'd agree with that. Not exactly your typical 80s band. Alot of foreign sounds mixed in with the cliched sounds of the synth.
