I thought it would be interesting to try and put together a definitive list, in order, of the songs, both instrumental and 80’s songs…
Here are the “score” songs 1. Carpathian Ridge 2. The Tangent Universe 3. The Artifact & Living 4. Middlesex Times 5. Manipulated Living 6. Philosophy of Time Travel 7. Liquid Spear Waltz 8. Gretchen Ross 9. Burn it to the Ground 10. Slipping Away 11. Rosie Darko 12. Cellar Door 13. Ensurance Trap 14. Waltz in the 4th Dimension 15. Time Travel 16. Did you Know Him? 17. Mad World 18. Mad World (remix version)
As far as I know the other songs are: The Killing Moon – Echo and the Bunny men Head over Heals – Tear for Fears Notorious – Duran Duran Proud to Be Loud – Pantera Love Will Tear Us Apart – Joy Division Under the Milky Way – The Curch Alternate Opening (Directors Cut)
Then I see some other instrumentals listed but not on the soundtrack: Lucid Memory Lucid Assembly Ave Maria For Whom the Bell Tolls Show Me

Members of this board could upload the songs not on the soundtrack using www.yousendit.com and start a good thread sharing with others who don't have them. Just a thought.

Yeah it's a great site, you don't need to sign up and you can usually have the file downloaded 25 times before they delete it.
I really want to download the songs but I had to reformat my machine last year thanks to Napster.
If anybody has the patience any of the songs being uploaded will be greatly appreciated.

Region 2 director's cut includes the song "Voices carry" by Til Tuesday, possibly several others but that's the one I recognize.#nosmileys

By several others do you mean like a-lot several others, or a few several others?

Voices carry was the only one I recognized. I was playing both DVDs at the same time and looking for differences in scenes and dialogue. Have to go through again and listen to the music. There may be some tidbits of music that are different but just the same songs as the original release. There is a difference in the background sound effects. In the director's cut there is a background static you can hear before Frank shows up and the Ave Maria plays as Donnie walks up the stairs to his parent's bedroom to find the gun, which if I remember correctly wasnt in the original.#nosmileys

Bought the 2 cd U.K. soundtrack. One CD has the Ave Maria, For Whom the Bell tolls etc. from the original release while the second cd has the same music as the american "soundtrack."

Not just the Ave Maria and For Whom the bell tolls but another 11 songs, from The Church, INXS, Tears for Fears. All the big name bands. Disc 2 has all the works from Michael Andrews plus the 2 versions of Mad world.

i don't have the soundtrack right now but from what i understand, all that was released in the US was just the score... so hopefully they'll release the 2 disk here too....
