Ok. technical question.

They just shipped my U.K. director's cut of DD and soundtrack with Head Over Heals and Ave Maria, the good songs. Now I need to figure out how to trick my dvd player into thinking we're in england.

Anyone know if the U.K. version will play on a U.S. dvd player?

Can I just tell my computer I've moved to england and expect it to make the appropriate changes?

Well you can buy DVD players that play Region 1 (Read: American) DVDs here so I imagine you have the same option reversed.

I though someone hereabouts offered instructions for monkeying with one's DVD player to "convert" it to region-free software ... but that may have been somewhere else.

My suggestion is a Google search with those terms -- and when you come across a good site with instructions, let us know!
