Thanks Omni - great interview. I'm still really positively anticipating this, despite the bad Cannes reviews. One good thing about a substantial cut-down from 160 mins is plenty of material for the DVD!
Just ordered the books from amazon - should all arrive in a lump when the third one is released. Can't wait!

"We made this movie for the people who loved 'Donnie Darko,' " Kelly insisted, downplaying the French response. "For people who read 'The Onion,' watch 'South Park' and listen to Green Day — very much the MTV audience. The fact that this film got [into Cannes] is a huge honor, and it is a statement that the film has something to say."
A terrifying blend of blasphemy and truth that is. Being in the Donnie Darko fan group, that, according to R. Kelly (lol (sarcastically)), puts me in the same category as those that want to see Lil' Jon's hos shake their asses, but it's a classification I'll have to get used to.
Good article overall though.
