Any thoughts on this movie? I have been looking out for movies featuring the members of the Darko cast and this seems to be the only one I might bother watching....some people are saying its anti christian which really isnt a problem for me but others are saying its a teen comedy and those really dont interest me.

The Wall Street Journal reviewed it last week or the week before. I'll paraphrase it here in case you can't find the actual review (ignore the rest if you do).
Basically they said it started off really strong and had really deep characters but by the end of the movie it degrades into a pretty typical teen movie (i.e. righteous teens struggle against a bigoted private school principal). And along the way it can also be pretty funny.

who the hell is telling you its anti-chirstian? That doesn't even make sense. If your looking for another movie with the cast in it check out "day after tomarrow" I was considering to see the movie just for CG purposes, but with a name like that i think i'll pass.

my friend saw it, and i think the only way who'd be able to see the anti-christianity is if your a christian(not christian like donnies gym teacher, then everything whould be offensive) but my friend said it doesnt totally bash us but kinda, it doesnt really choose sides i think she said. i think she did say it kinda ended up average teen movie(ugh). yeah and the day after tomorrow wasnt all that great, despite awesome jake being in it, but even he didnt do very good in it.

Well its obvious we cant always expect great performances from the actors so lets just hope we will get more from the director

You couldn't pay me to see "Day After Tomorrow." If Jerry Bruckheimer produces it, it's guaranteed to be an offense to the art of filmaking.

I have never heard of 'Saved'.
As for the 'Day After Tomorrow', I found it overall a bad film. It was too unrealistic and hard to take seriously. Though I must say it has some of the most mind-blowing special effects I've seen in a long time.

haven't seen saved... day after tomorrow was disappointing save for yummy Jake shots. (and btw i really hate the girls who come on here and all they can say about DD is that it's SOOO GOOD and JAKE IS SO HOT! i mean yeah he's good looking but god, like him as an actor, and appreciate the film first)
ummm... momma darko is in Independence Day (she's the first lady) and samantha is in The Ring, Maggie(i don't even know her character's name...) is in... Mona Lisa Smile... and secretary (which i heard is good but haven't seen)...
i also liked jake in october sky and *ducks* Bubble Boy. it's just so cute. ha...

I thought the performances in Secretary were absolutely, fall-out-of-your-seat amazing.
And one might be able to draw a parallel between the themes explored there (is love subjugation of indepenence?) and Darko, in which Donnie considers issues of love and what an individual's responsibilities may be to the greater good.
