Maybe this has been answered on here, but I haven't seen it. Here is a big problem I have with the explanation of this movie....here goes...the explanation of this movie says the reason Donnie kills ML Frank is because MD Frank leads him to do it by busting the water pipe, setting fire to the house and finding the gun, so he can ultimately save the world. If MD Frank doesn't tell him to do those things, he won't be led to kill ML Frank and save the world. So...how can MD Frank wake up Donnie and save his life if he only exist if Donnie kills ML Frank which he won't do unless MD Frank leads him to do it??? Hope that makes sense.
