The only thing that i disslike about the DC is the wierd eye thing that RK has added jst before something significant happens, and the 5 second count down at the end.

I know a lot of you dont like the music placement in the DC, but that's how Kelly originally intended it to be. As he explained in the DC commentary the music in the original is different because he couldn't get certain rights he wanted so he had to do things differently.
I prefer the original DVD music to be honest.
I think the eye things are okay, but i dont like the whole sc-fi technological approach on the flashback in time at the end.

I'm somewhere between slightly and strongly preferring the original over the director's cut. The music really threw me off in DC, but that was most likely because I was so used to certain songs being in certain places (namely "The Killing Moon" and "Under the Milky way").
The eye thing was okay. I really enjoyed the added scenes and pages from the Philosophy of Time Travel.
I hated the fact that there were missing lines from DC that were the original. The ones that really bothered me was the one where Frank's friend freaks out after Frank runs over Gretchen and the end of the tangent world scene. I felt that the lines from Frank's friend in the original added to the suspense and that his one line in DC was not sufficient. The end of the tangent world scene I just hated in DC. I loved it in the original where they replay a few important quotes that piece together things that happened. I was shocked that there wasn't at least the countdown. And the time traveling after the end of the tangent world in DC! What was with that? The random grid with fireworks! It was nonsense!
