A storm is coming, Frank says.
A storm that will swallow the children, and I will deliver them from the kingdom of pain.
I will deliver the children back to their doorsteps; I'll send the monsters back to the underground.
I'll send them back to a place where no one else can see them, except for me because I am Donnie Darko

Shortly after the meeting where Kitty complains about the reading of Grahm Green (not of the Bonanza variety) at the public meeting. Donnie reads his poem and shortly thereafter Miss Pomeroy introduces Watership down.

A change is coming, my third eye says. Soon the sun will run out of batteries, the trees will wither away and oxygen will freeze leaving us all gasping for air as we panic. I will fly with cadavers on kite strings; I'll raise a metal fist up to shield Mother Nature. No one else can get away with being a poet by day and a masked murderer by night, except for me because I am Omnipotent. *Puts crack pipe down*

Is war truly evitable? Or is it actually part of our nature? In the midst of our technological adolescence, are we just boasting and bragging and showing off at ourselves? It might be an enlarged and more complicated version of nature’s survival of the fittest. That would mean that we are born with the bloody mentality of war. Even though we all might contradict any who dare suggest we still live by the basis of Might vs. Right, do we still live by these barbaric principles? Maybe it is just a self-defense mechanism that arises every time we feel unsecured, threatened, or pressured. What if war is ignited by the greed of power of those who long for absolute monopoly? For how3 long will this last? For how long will there be war? Can’t people see war brings nothing but destruction, devastation, diseases’, war brings forth nothing but death. When God banned us from the paradise of Eden, did he also prophecies “Ye thou shall eternally live unsafe from your neighbors and shall end your days in battlefield agonizing and wishing for death.” When will humanity take off the blindfolds, what are we afraid to see? Even though we all know there are no true valid reasons for war, why do we keep making excuses to begin one? When will people learn to stop fearing differences and changes, and instead start embracing them?
“He was one of those people who would be neither a followers nor a leader, but only an aspiring heart, impatient in the body which imprisoned him.”
One built with the material needed for a leader, but weak on the shield when in battle. The malevolent bars that impression him were built especially for him by society. They isolate him; drain all faith, hope, and joy out of his heart. He is that fearless eagle that has been turned into a docile lamb.
I was just viewing old work I had done last year and decided to post it. It brought back memories
