Yeah. I suppose. But Donnie's logic of smurf existence seems soo relevant to the general population, seems they would at least be interested. And at the same time be exposed to theories of Steven Hawkings. That's quite a bridge, I guess, for most. Back to my favorite River Phoenix quote of another ill fated movie "People are such G-- D--- Idiots." as evidenced by the many great reviews listed at the rotten tomatoes website where professional reviewers loved the movies while many audiences couldn't grasp the storyline or weren't interested in taking the time to ponder it.

That's the total take for the Director's cut of DD per www.rottentomatoes.com which lists the buget as 4.5mill. I had originally posted it as the total take for the movie but saw that it was incorrect and pulled it. Thought it referred to the whole gambit of DD, director's cut, soundtracks etc.. Didn't want to be misleading until I'd tripple checked my facts. Did find out that New Market also put out Momento (gag) and The Passion of the Christ. Quite a range of titles.

Watched the movie twice and found the logistics of his manner of living more interesting than the plot line. A sum of quirky compensating measures for living without a memory. Probably had more expectations for the movie than I should have. Oh well. More time for DD. oh, and DD made 10 mill in england on its first release and is cited as the most sucessful independent film ever.....Someone made some money excite.contactmusic.com/new/home.nsf/webpages/donniedarkox29x09x04 .#nosmileys

Almost twice the response to the director's cut. Initial opening in 2001 brought in approx 1905 per screen. Director's cut opening took in about 3532 per screen. That's encouraging.#nosmileys

Now, I just wish someone reviewing those numbers would initiate a wider distribution ... I'm dying for the DC to be shown here in Columbus, Ohio.

And here I missed the opening here in Seattle. I fel like such a "f--k a--" I'd would have rented a room at the 4-seasons, used their car to drive me to the movie and wait, and then make them play the DD soundtrack on the way back.
Have it on now. #nosmileys
