I have three questions, one of which should belong in the music board, but I'm already here, so what the hell?
1. Did they really change Frank's voice in the Director's Cut?
2. If yes to number 1, does anyone have a sound file they could post or where to find one of it?
3. At the beginning of the movie, when Donnie's riding his bike to his house, what song is playing in the background?

The answer to the song question...
Why that is "The Killing Moon," performed by Echo and the Bunnymen.
I went all psycho and downloaded all of the DD songs including the Mad World remake.

.. o.0 Mad World remake? The Mad World song in DD isn't the first one? No it was originally by Tears for Fears and then was redone by Gary Jules

At the beginning of the movie, when Donnie's riding his bike to his house, what song is playing in the background? 1. For a few scenes, yes, his voice is changed. It's kind of a letdown, but it was still really cool to hear it in the theater. I'm still shuddering from excitment. 2. Finding a sound file is very unlikely online. Good luck finding one, though. 3. The first song in the original is indeed "The Killing Moon", but in the Director's Cut it is "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS, which works just as well. The Killing Moon (with a really cool remix) takes the place of Under the Milky Way Tonight at the party. But not to worry, Under the Milky Way is still in the movie, in a rather amusing scene (which I won't spoil for you). Hope this helps.
