alright... this movie makes sense and confuses you ALL at the same time. in between all of this, there is ONE thing that bothers me... i can make my own opinion about the movie and get out of it whatever i want and i can also stay confused and i can get my answers questioned on these posts... but there is DEFINITELY one thing that bothers me... did patrick swayz's character get away with his child pornography scam?!? when i read these posts, i learned a little about time travel which i knew nothing about before... one thing i learned is that ppl dream about the life receivers (darko) and realize the importance theyve made on their life. SOOO... at the ending, pat is crying. is this a remorse to his actions...which in turn can leave it up to the imagination that he fixes his own way?
SOMEONE PLEASE CLARIFY THIS FOR ME!!! thanks.

At the end of the movie when Swayze is crying, he now understands how much of a terrible person he is and the audience is supposed to be under the impresstion that he's now finished with his secret, dirty life. If you go to the website(donniedarko.com) they say the Jim Cunnigham dies shortly after the events in the movie. I don't know if all of that is written by Richard Kelly or not, but take it for what its worth.
