in the first english room scene there is a quote from the story on the left side chalkboard, it is crazy forshadowing. i dont remember it word for word but basically is about the house, crash boom and it was no more. if anyone can recall that whole thing id love to read it without pausing and slowmo.
PS:i watched the movie for like the 10th time last night and for the first time i saw frank in the watermain/axe shot. not where hes behind donnie and blurry, as donnies walking toward the pipe frank is in the shadows and it freaked the hell out of me...thats what keeps me coming back for more

It is actually from a real book its Graham Greenes Destructors...you can find a collection of his stories on Amazon.com or a library....you may also want to check out Crime & Punishment by Fyodor Dosteovsky Watership Down (The authors name escapes me right now) and The Metamorphisis by Franz Kafka to see where Richard Kelly got some of his ideas
