^looks like someone took the list of ingredients from a box of Donnie Darko, threw in some corn starch and a few "cool scary" elements, baked halfway, and released.
to paraphrase e.e. cummings: there's a hell of a Tangent Universe next door/ it's called Donnie Darko/ let's go.

to paraphrase e.e. cummings: there's a hell of a Tangent Universe next door/ it's called Donnie Darko/ let's go. that's too good to go unrecognized. one exaltation for you. i'm ashamed to admit: if and when it makes it to one of the hopeful high def broadcast channels, i'll watch it.

Wow, Daveigh Chase has gotten hot. She is 18 now, right? Okay yeah, then yeah, she's hot. However, this movie looks pretty terrible. All of the special effects and angst make this look like the relative failure of the DD:DC amplified by many magnitudes. Not to mention that one of the guys in the trailer looks a hell of a lot like Donnie. Did they bring Donnie back as a manipulated dead? How is this possible? Wouldn't Sam find something wrong with this? Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but regardless, it looks awful. I'll probably still watch it, but I'll tie myself down to keep me from destroying the TV from how awful this movie might be.

I like some of the cinematography in the trailer, but what were they thinking making this...Jesus!

I watched that movie last year. I was also skipping school the very same day ^^' but oh well. Anyways I watched the whole thing and just didn't like it. Its hard to explain but I felt something in it was missing. I wonder if Richard Kelly knows about this movie at all and what he thinks about it. Either way I'm never going to own it cause It wasn't good as the first one. They should've let the first one be, without anything else messing it up or should've let it be directed by the same person for goodness sake.
