Alright what i know is that Frank comes back in time. (The scene in the theater shows Donnie that Frank is from the future and Donnie must know this because he apologises to Frank.) Why is Frank there. What is his purpose if I knew that the rest could just come to me.

tom... there are pages and pages and pages of discussion about frank. while i could easily tell you, nobody just told me, so you have to look around like the rest of us.
please try not to post something that already has a discussion going, because it pushes our ongoing threads off the pages and becomes very frustrating.

Gretchen makes a point that's considerate of everyone who's posted here before: at the very least, treat this community like a search engine, and use that tool before posting a question like, "I really need help understanding this movie ... would someone explain it all to me?"
Besides, it's far more satisfying if you search, read some threads, and digest the contributions of several forum members. It helps you to come to your own conclusions ... and creates that best chance that you will come up with some new angle on an old question, which means you can contribute to the forum, too.

How can I digest the contributions of other members if I can't even digest my lunch - man, it's sitting in my stomach like a rock! I'm not looking forward to pushing that through my colon! Ouch!

Gretch, love you too. And Gretchenfan ... with the exception of the spam/wasted effort that you generate, at least you're reading the boards in an effort to be contradictory. And sometimes the result even makes me chuckle. It's clear you're not dumb. Now, if only you'd consider actually engaging the material and contributing to the forum instead of parodying it ...

Whoa -- where'd that come from? Someone bumping an old thread and ripping off a schtick only GF could make endearing ... don't people value their time more than this?
