Near the beginning of the movie, where someone exits the back of the bus and the camera is on it's side so that the door opens downward and the pesron exits on what appears to be the wall... then the camera flips up, all the while Head Over Heels is playing in the background. I love this scene, and I don't know why.

I like the 'official' Sparkle Motion dance near the middle/end, as Donnie sets Jim Cunninham's house ablaze.
No no.. Notorious

(This is Ryan, BTW. Finally got around to registering.)
True enough, though my sister said they were Hip-Hop cheerleader wannabes. Gives me more reason to smite her.

The whole school scene is my favourite in the movie. I love the song, the speeding down of the visuals to fit the music, the introduction, the sickening Jim, and those hillarious gals from Sparkle Motion! It climaxes brilliantly too with the sudden speeding to finish off in the classroom.

i love this scene. i think the whole turning camera angle pretty much sums up what school and the teachers are trying to do to donnie. straighten him up, make him lke everyone else. i think we all feel like this at some stage in our lives. and just coz this is a music thread...the song suits it to a tee.
