i agree with Tiffany tayor, jake is an awesome actor(one of my favs) and most anything hes in is gonna be real good(execpt day after tomorrow, sorry tiffany) and hes soo cute! yeah like she said, bubble boy, good girl, october sky..... and whatever else she said. yeah anime is always good for thinking movies. lost in translation-good(not like dd good tho). o yeah a movie that will really mess with you and make you confuse till the end is vanilla sky, its not an indie like donnie darko, but still good. yeah i cant really think of any right now.....maybe later.....

yeah twitchmonkey, especially after seeing dd, alot movies can seem pretty sucky, so thanks kelly for making a the movie so good, now all the movies i watch suck. yeah i'm not saying bubble boy is in my favorites, i just think jake was funny in it, i'm not to big on preverted humor. october skys kind of a family disney movie, good for that kinda movie though

You must see American History X. Must must. And, although entirely mainstream, I still love Gladiator till the end.
Another sexcellent Edward Norton film is Fight Club. I know tonsa people have already mentioned if, but you're an jidiot still wondering if you should see it, go! Go!
Agreed - everything I watch after DD will not hold my attention. They seem boring or not deep enough and the ending simply ends - no thinking, no rewatching, no nothing, like you do with DD.
I've been told LA Confidential is excellent (with Russell Crowe, Gladiator for those of you who are RC-dumb), altho I still haven't seen it! Must go see it!

Yes, please watch "L.A. Confidential." Also, I just watched "Pi," last night. Knew about it, heard about it, etc. for years, just now watched it. Worth checking out. Also, to all those who haven't seen "Mystic River" yet, I advise reading the novel first. It's much better, despite the wonderful performances of Tim Robbins and Sean Penn.

"Reservoir Dogs," hell yes. "Pulp Fiction," affirmative. "From Dusk Till Dawn," si. "Kill Bill,"...left much to be desired. As much as I love Tarantino's films, I don't see kung-fu and drive-in movies in the same worshipful light that he does, and so "Kill Bill" just seemed outright ridiculous to me at times. However, I do want to see Part 2, so the story did work for me on some level. You didn't mention "True Romance," which Tarantino wrote and Tony Scott directed. Well worth seeing, go for the director's cut. Peace out.
