Welcome to all!!! I would like to say I'm very happy to see how this forum is starting to grow. I hope you all continue to enjoy this forum as much as I do. And in order for me to help make this forum a fun and comfortable place I have set a few simple rules.
1. No negative comments towards anyone to where they would feel uncomfortable or being attacked. Examples, name calling, death threats, you get the idea. If you feel you have to really say something towards someone, please PM them.
2. Please keep your feelings about personality conflicts on other boards to yourself. This forum is in place to discuss the film and issues directly relating to it. Gossip only engenders bad feelings and personality conflicts, both of which take up bandwidth that could be better used for talking about DD.
3. IF YOU DON'T HAVE NOTHIN NICE TO SAY, DON'T SAY IT AT ALL!!!! Negative comments stir up trouble. We don't need this on our board.
4. Racist comments or any negative comments towards a whole race will be removed.
5. No discussions of and/or posting links to chat rooms please.

7. Please try to keep the avatar size down to a minimum of 150 X 150 pixels or smaller. The large avatars creates a large border on the left hand side of the forum which makes posts look weird.
8. Flaming/Flame Wars will not be tolerated. Flaming is reacting to someone's message board posting in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty e-mails/PM's Flaming may occur to users who ask stupid questions or who engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper online netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated.
Respect other peoples privacy.
9. Do not post a personal message from another member without their permission. This is an invasion of privacy and we will delete any message that does not say you have permission to post it.
10. We don't have spell check in this group and we have not assigned anyone to the task. Insulting another member because of spelling or grammar is not going to be allowed. We have members that translate into English as best they can. We also have children/young adults here who are still learning how to spell. Be considerate of this. It would be a shame to lose a member because they don't feel they can live up to your standards
11. Messages on the board are for the entire group. If you want to have a conversation with a single person, use email/PM whenever possible. If the person doesn't have a public email address, there's probably a reason for it. Respect their privacy.
12. No trollers - people who come here just to start controversy - that will not be allowed and those people will be immediately banned from this community.
13. If an argument starts in a particular thread leave it in that thread. Also if you are members of other boards please leave the arguments on that board, to avoid fights its just easier if arguments are left where they are and not pulled where they don't belong.
14. Do not use SPAM - messages that are posted here simply and solely to advertise or promote another community and/or website are not allowed.
That's it for now. Simple huh??? Any posts that do not adhere to the rules posted above will be deleted and may cause banning from this board. It's okay to have discussions and argue about things as long as it is done in a professional manner.
