as it dose with most movies the only one i can think of that relied on pure actors ability was 12 angry men(little to no music in it)

I agree. The most emotional scene was the end when Gary Jules is playing "mad world"
The scene that makes me laugh the most though is definatly the "Anti-Christ" scene because it starts out with Swazye is being such an ignorant dick and you just want to scream and then Donnie goes and does it for you. God I love that scene

Another great example... The ending.. just imagine the ending without "Mad World" playing in the background.. Takes away all the emotioin and power of the scenes and it' kinda confusing just seeing random people waking up and crying..

A scene that I really like is when Donnie is setting fire Jim Cunningham's house and the girls are dancing Sparkle Motion at the same time. I don't know... the music, the visual effects... they really touch me.
But my favorite image is this in my signature. I don't know... it's so beautiful. ^^ The world is ending, but however, "everything is beautiful, like death is beautiful" and we don't need to be afraid.
Ok, my head is spinning... ^^;
Edit: I really like the scene in the movie theater too. When Frank apears to Donnie while Gretchen is sleeping. The music and the dialogues are so intense... i love it. Jake's facial expressions are so great. I think he's perfect for this character.

I, personally, really liked the Pandora logo in the beginning.
Stunning.

the ending is also pretty good... just seeing the whole list of actors and people dealing with this movie... Really impressive and original... A brilliant masterpiece of art.....
