sorry, but this was one of the worst films I have ever seen.
It's a bit like a hormonal 14 year olds attempt at deep and meaningful. It just don't work!

It's true that you are entitled to your opinion. Although why anybody would trouble themselves to seek out a fan site and write up a review for a movie they didn't like has always been beyond me.

So you find a fan site for a moive you dont like, give a two line explanation about why you don't like it, and then leave. Smooth.

Oh, well. It DD is a movie that requires some curiosity, intelligence and intellect to grasp and comprehend. Perhaps I could suggest a more suitable movie for you, say, Bernie's vacation I or Bernie's vacation II (in that order to prevent confusion)? And the "Hey Vern" movies are good but require an understanding of ironic juxtaposition....but you need to remember ....babysteps....babysteps....babysteps.....
Perhaps if you had some specific points about the movie you had questions about? #nosmileys#nosmileys

Actually I do understand why somebody would hate it if they only saw it once. Or maybe they are plainly dum to think about the movie. That is one of the things I love about the movie, it makes you think + it's confusing (which some people don't really like thinking to figure out the problem, and or, don't like that sensation of confusement). I did think it was pretty confusing the first time I saw it, but I liked it. Then I saw it again and understood more, and more and more. Then I became addicted to the movie. That point of going through the trouble of searching for a fan site to state a rant is also hard to grasp. I guess he/she/it wanted to just see the fan's reaction to a negative comment made about the thing they enjoy talking about inside of the site. Maybe her/his/its unconsios lead her to this site to get aid in the movie, but instead she maneged to display her discontent.

Also, isn't Donnie like umm 15 years old? Just a question. I always thought he was. Wait, maybe he was 14 years old. Ok he was in fall of his Freshman year right? If so he should have been 14 unless he was born from August-Octover which would have made him 15 at that time of Ocotber. Maybe I am confusing his age because of the passege the teacher reads about "something about and in this his 15th year, crystalized in the pain of puberty"

Uduh, I know he is younger than 21, but I was trieng to more specifically find his age. I think he is either 14 or 15, or is supposed to be in the movie.
