That suit was given to a cast member I believe and the movie wasnt really big enough of a box office hit to make it to costume stores and a frank costume would be expensive if you could even find it (a DECENTLY done frank mask sold for 70 dollars on ebay recently) so pretty much the only answer is to try to make it yourself.....good luck

Frank suit coming soon? What does that mean? Do you work for darkside or was this on the website?......I swear I would revert back to trick or treating if I could wear a frank costume

I'm going to begin working on a whole new forum soon. While this is my favorite DD forum, it has alot of sucky flaws. For instance, Theres only one mod and she never comes on here to clean up the place. Secondly, proboards are kinda limiting and people are repeating the same questions because of all the clutter. I'm also going to be posting information on how to create your own frank suit. So stay tuned.

Okay, that's pretty cool, but it doesn't look metalic enough. The details are okay, but something seems flat.

Well the real mask wasnt metallic in the first place(the last mask shown in the movie was a special mold made as a gift for one of the crew members). And That's the best frank mask you can find on the net, trust me. I will probably end up buying it soon so I'll tell you what i think of it first hand.

Ok, I too thought that the mask used throughout the whole film was metallic, or at least painted metallic. But looking closer (found this site with a ton of shots of the mask) www.thedentedhelmet.com/darko/screencap.htmit's definately a brownish color - if you look in some of the screen captures, you can easily recognize this - so this Darksidestudio mask is actually very accurate. With the film, our eyes are just naturally drawn to the brighter parts of the image, so we usually don't notice what color the mask really is, we just assume its the color of the light that's being bounced off of it. It's all in the high-contrast lighting that's giving the mask it's metal/wet look - this style of lighting is often used to make a scene look very creepy. This does bring up an interesting point though. I'm probably going to buy this mask soon, but I'm wondering if it will look as cool without the same lighting conditions used in the film. The reason it looks so much more rubbery in the pic on the darkside site is because the image was taken in normal diffused light, which is what you'll get in real life unless you do some fancy lighting. Spraypainting the mask with a transparent gloss finish might help give it a shinier look under normal lighting conditions (assuming one can find a kind of paint that won't eat through the plastic/latex) As for making a suit, is it really that difficult? It seems like a rather generic rabbit suit that you could probably find just about anywhere. Even a white Easterbunny suit would probably work. All you'd need to do is dirty the fur.

All you'd need to do is dirty the fur. Only problem is most rabbit suits are made for 5 year olds and are really small and youd have to be very careful to match the color of the rabbit fur

Well I was thinking of the kind of rabbit suits that get worn in shopping malls greeting kids or waving at cars at gas-station corners - one of the cheaper ones. And there's a couple places, at least in my town, that specialize in dying materials, so they could probably match it quite well.

Hehe, the fact that its scary is half the reason I want it. There's a number of people I know I'll be able to freak out with it. I'll just stand motionless in the corner of the room for a while and stare at people, making them all uncomfortable. As for the other half, comeon, I just wanna have the definitive symbol of one of the coolest movies of all time.
