I''d not heard about Gyllenhall playing Superman until this post. As I said before, "hell no." As a devout Superman fan, I want to see the character done right on film. I think Gyllenhall could probably do a decent job, but he is too young. Supes is not Spider-Man, he ain't no damn teenager. And Gyllenhall still looks mad young. I would like to see them go with an unknown actor, as Warner's did with Christopher Reeve back in the day. And as Marvel and Fox did with one Hugh Jackman. Damn. This is a Donnie Darko site. So I'll quit talkin' about Kal-El. Peace.

Hes not gonna be superman! i already posted on here that i saw on some news that some other guy will play superman. so its all gonna be ok pax.

Well he damn well better not be! ;D Although he definitely could do a straight ahead super-hero movie. Just not Superman. No. No,no,no.....no.

yeah he could be a superhero....i cant think of which ones though. but yeah i'm very relieved too.

I think the only good thing to come out of Jake being in Superman would be him in tights....*drools* lol I dunno why they'd even make another Superman movie. He's supposed to be in talks with Kevin Smith to play the Green Hornet. I dunno anything about that superhero, but Kevin Smith usually does comedies, right? So, maybe it's like a parody. I dunno.
