Sure. I have no doubt that it will be a visual feast, and I'm looking forward to the story (and Chewy!). But I dont hold out much hope for the acting and dialogue, given the tripe in the first two.

I think he means it's not "kool" to be excited about Star Wars, so he is pretending not be (excited, that is.) I want to be excited, but, to be honest, I was *REALLY* disapointed in Battle of the Clones. My only real gripe with Phantom Menace was Jar Jar Binks. Way to dumb it up, George. Mass appeal, right?? I'll probably end up seeing it on opening weekend. My friend from back in the day somehow always ends up finding me and we wait for hours to buy tickets. My life is pathetic sometimes. *Edited to reflect gender . . .

that's my feeling too BigBoy!
I have to see it because it is a star wars but the original trilogy and the new movies seem to be so dismantled and separate! I was also Highly disappointed in the clone wars to . Half way throught i fell asleep on my exbf's shoulder! Suxed. But I did see yoda's fight and it was rad!
Orkad- fandango your tickets its a thousand times easier and there is no line to wait in!

I'm being careful not to overcorrect in my anticipation of this next one, given how terrifically awful I found Clones and Menace ... but it really does look better, doesn't it?

Saw Return of the Sith last night - and you know what, it's actually pretty good. There are a few cringy moments when the robots make comedy noises when they are about to be squished, but overall it's a massive improvement over The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.
So go and see it (even if you feel disillusioned by the first two) - it's a lot of fun!
